Social network war-Facebook far ahead MySpace


Facebook ahead Rupert Murdoch owned Myspace in number of visitors. In May, Facebook had 123.9 million unique visitors and 50.6 billion page views worldwide, according to the research firm ComScore. MySpace, meanwhile, had 114.6 million unique visitors and 45.4 billion page views. According to the Reston research firm, this is the first time Facebook has edged past MySpace in those measures. MySpace currently holds 60 percent of the social networking ads.50 percent of the online ads are come from in US. Social network sites expect more income from ads previously advertisers spend small amount for Social network sites.

MySpace was launched in 2003 Mark Zuckerberg owned Facebook was launched in 2004, and use of the site was limited to students until September 2006.

Murdoch recently said Facebook is a "flower of one month,” and he claims that visitors are spend more time in Myspace. Myspace add new features to attract more visitors.

Google Docs is a free, Web-based word processor, spreadsheet, and presentation application .It allows users to create and edit documents online while collaborating in real-time with other users.

Documents, spreadsheets, and presentations can be created within the application itself, imported through the web interface, or sent via email. They can also be saved to the user's computer in a variety of formats. By default, they are saved to Google's servers. Open documents are automatically saved to prevent data loss, and a full revision history is automatically kept. Collaboration between users is also a feature of Google Docs. Documents can be shared, opened, and edited by multiple users at the same time. In the case of spreadsheets, users can be notified of changes to any specified regions via e-mail. Just enter the email addresses of the people with whom you want to share a given document and send them an invitation. Anyone you've invited to either edit or view your document, spreadsheet or presentation can access it as soon as they sign in.

Google Docs accepts most popular file formats including, DOC, XLS, ODT, ODS, RTF, CSV, PPT, etc. It also includes support for the Open Document format. It is also possible to upload and share PDF files.

Nokia E66 & E71 launched


Nokia introduce two new models in its E-series catalogue--Nokia E71 and Nokia E66.The smart phone has been packed with a combination of great looks and excellent features. Unlike its predecessors, Nokia N71 has a keyboard that is much more rigid, doing away with the spongy feel. This means that you can now type your messages as well as e-mails much more quickly.


Though not a touch screen device like the iPhone,the E-66 has a sleek slider top and the E-71 a QWERTY keyboard that makes e-mail easier. The devices can support corporate software applications.


The E71 features a full BlackBerry-esque Qwerty keyboard and handset styling, while the E66 slider gives email connectivity options, including Gmail and Windows Live.The E66 has HSDPA connectivity for speedy downloads and has both Wi-Fi and Assisted GPS on board. The phones are equipped with a 2.4 inch screen and a 3.2-megapixel camera. The memory is expandable up to 8GB, and the battery will hold out for at least 7.5 hours.

Flash search for Google and Yahoo


Adobe is teaming up with search engine leaders Google and yahoo to improve search results for dynamic Web content and rich Internet applications (RIAs).


Adobe is providing optimized Adobe Flash Player technology to Google and Yahoo to enhance search engine indexing of the Flash file format (SWF) and uncover information that is currently undiscoverable by search engines. Adobe’s Flash Player is installed on 98 per cent of internet connected PCs, making it one of the most pervasive platforms for delivering rich content on websites.


The content inside SWF files has previously been ignored by the search engine, but Adobe has worked with both companies to enable their search engine technology to look inside existing and future SWF content, including text, hyperlinks, audio and video content.

Google has already added the optimized Flash Player to its site to enable its search engine to access SWF files. Yahoo plans to add the technology to a future update of Yahoo Search.
